We take our food very seriously at Little Monkeys. We employ a trained cook to hand-make all our meals with care and attention onsite in our kitchen. We believe that good eating habits need to be instilled from an early age. This is why all our meals are varied and nutritionally balanced and prepared freshly every day using locally sourced fruit and vegetables and high quality meat from an award-winning local butcher. No additional salt is added in the cooking process and sugar is reduced by at least 50% in normal recipes. We consult child nutritionists to assist in preparing balanced menus. All our weekly menus are available from reception.
Our nursery cook is also involved in baking sessions with the children which helps them work as a team, learn about different ingredients and the ‘science’ of how the magic happens in the oven.
